More about Poornima:
Poornima has struggled with her thyroid for 5 years, taking medication every single day on an empty stomach and then waiting for 30 minutes to eat/drink something. She has also gone through post-partum depression, ankylosing spondylitis, plantar fasciitis – taken steroids to reduce pain and was frustrated living a life where she also weighed 90kgs/188 pounds.
She knew there had to be a way out. Her turning point was when her mum was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer overnight and was bed ridden. It is then that she researched, studied, certified and implemented her learnings to reverse her hormonal imbalances which allowed her to go off thyroid medication, she stopped taking steroids, reversed her ankylosing spondylitis and plantar fasciitis and dropped a whopping 30kgs. It is her mission that “every woman deserves to live life medication free so that she can do more for herself and her loved ones.”
